Plastic self sealing bags are often seen in our daily life. They can be used to hold food, clothing, electronic products and other items. But as we all know, plastic bags are divided into toxic and non-toxic. How should we distinguish them?

Non toxic plastic bags, which are made of polyethylene, polypropylene and melamine, can be used to hold food; toxic plastic bags, which are made of vinyl chloride, can only be used for general packaging. If they are used to package food, there is a risk of poisoning.

把塑料袋放在水里，并用手將其按到水底，稍等片刻，浮出水面的即為無毒塑料袋，沉在水底的即為有毒塑料袋。

Put the plastic bag in the water and press it to the bottom of the water by hand. Wait for a moment. The non-toxic plastic bag will appear on the water surface, and the toxic plastic bag will sink under the water.

用手撫摸塑料袋表面，很光滑是無毒的。如果顏色混朦，觸之發粘、發澀，就是有毒的。

Touch the surface of the plastic bag with your hand. It is smooth and nontoxic. If the color is misty, sticky and astringent, it is toxic.

用手使勁抖動塑料袋時，聲音嘩嘩啦啦很清脆的是無毒塑料袋，而聲音發悶或沒有什么聲音的，便是有毒的塑料袋。

When shaking the plastic bag with your hands, the sound is loud and clear. The non-toxic plastic bag is very clear, and the toxic plastic bag is the one with stuffy sound or no sound.

燃燒：將塑料袋剪下一角，放在火上一燒，無毒的燒之即燃，將它離開火后仍繼續燃燒，并出現黃色火焰，而且熔塑像蠟燭一樣一滴一滴往下掉，發出石蠟氣味；有毒的，不易燃燒，燃燒后呈綠色火苗，并有一股嗆鼻的異味。

Burning: cut off a corner of the plastic bag and burn it on the fire. The non-toxic one will burn immediately. After leaving the fire, it will continue to burn, and yellow flame will appear. Moreover, the melting statue will drop down drop by drop like a candle, giving off the smell of paraffin; toxic, not easy to burn, it will appear green flame after burning, and have a choking smell.

聞氣味：有刺激性和使人惡心等不正常氣味的，多為有毒的，或可能是增塑劑或其他添加劑過量，質量均較差。

Smell: irritating and disgusting abnormal smell, mostly toxic, or excessive plasticizer or other additives, with poor quality.
